From my research, I came up with 17-19s. Due to some screw ups, I ended up buying non-RFT 19 winters to put on my stock 351s. After I ordered the tires, I found out that I shouldn't continue to swap out my RFTs. I then ordered some wheels from Modbargins (see upside down photo above) for the winters. If I were to do it all over, I would've put the 19 non-RFT winters on my 351s and got 20s from Modbargins.

Confusing? Sorry, but wanted to share my plight.

I see you have an 02 540. How has it held up? I plan on keeping mine for quite a while.

My 2013 535i xDrive. 245/45R-18 Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 XL mounted on 18" x 8" Enkei Tuning Raijin Gunmetal wheels. Really like how it drives without the RFT's on the car.

Hey

Just wondering where you bought your 18" Rial Salerno tire package?

What did you do for the tire sensors?

Thanks

Responded to your PM

Just noticed you are in Montreal so you won't need to get sensors since our cars have TPMS that work with the ABS system.

Wheels are from tirerack. They came to about $960 shipped with tax and duties.

Bumping this thread with my winter set up.
I've got staggered 351M wheels with 245/40/19 Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 all around, and 10mm spacers in front and 18mm in the rear.

Looks good! I've got a similar setup with 245/40/19 blizzak lm60's on 351's with 10mm front and 15mm rear spacers. I'm super happy with this setup

Yes, so easy to regularly clean in winter, one of the reasons for going for the 17". Tyres are 225/55, Dunlop Winter Sport 3D. Work well in our Scottish Highland 'mixed' winter temperatures.

Run 18" in the summer.
