Bit if a Newb...
Hi,
Definitely interested in the tuner you have for sale. Being new to installing something like this I have a couple of questions... 1) Is this unit complete? Is there anything else I would need to purchase before being able to install/use the Stage 2? 2) Just how easy is this to install/remove? I'm no mechanic but like to "tinker" a bit but have zero experience with this sort of thing. Thanks! |

Yes it is complete. Nothing more to purchase for install. You will need some tools and tape.
Best instructions for install is at this link. http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22748 Can take some time first time to install it. Take your time and it will be fine though. |

I have this very system on my 2013 550. First time you put it on, maybe an hour. After that, 10-15 minutes.
You unplug the wire to both turbos, then you have 4 wires that connect directly to the ECU. So the pain the A$$ is finding the 4 wires in the ECU area and running the wires the first time. Easy to install after that. This is a good price, $800 new... http://www.burgertuning.com/N63_JB4_upgrades.html Dyno thread: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18035 Video on the install: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22748 ...Mike |
