Dynamic Damper Control in sport package

My car (2012 535i xdrive) handles well in sport mode, those with the option, how about yours? Has anyone done any upgrades?

Has anyone done any handling improvements to the Dynamic Damper Control suspension?

Hey buddy, I have a 550i with DDC. I lowered the vehicle with H&R Springs and the modes work well with it.

Dinan makes software to re-calibrate the settings, it's actually on sale for half off (Under $400).

Since you're in CT check out Munich Motorsports in East Windsor. Great guys and do great work.

Thanks, did the shocks need to be changed with the springs? Or did the software compensate? Is yours xdrive? Sean

I have an xDrive with DDC and ARS, and I installed ACS springs about five months ago. I have not had to replace my shocks and they still work as designed.

I actually have not purchased the software as of yet, but will be soon. No need to replace shocks, you can just lower your vehicle with the springs of your choice. I have a RWD 550i.

AC Schnitzer and Racing Dynamics make springs specifically for DDC/EDC, early on (2011-2012) some members switched through 2-3 spring setups and swore by the RD and ACS springs.

I will be switching my H&R springs to something else as my 550 is too low in the front for anyone else to drive. For some reason the H&R springs slammed the 550i RWD in the front, left the rear 1/2-1" higher.

Nice black on black, I like it. What does the software do for std dyn damp with normal springs? This is my daily commute car, lowering might be an issue with our North east winters.
