F10 NBT Evo Retrofit (with Apple CarPlay) in a 2012 535

Hi Everyone,

We recently did an NBT Evo Retrofit in a 2012 535i. It looks really cool and I wanted to share. Here's a little before and after video I put together that shows the before and the after. In the after, you can see the new interface, Apple CarPlay and some of the other cool features!

Bryan

I've been thinking about doing the NBT Evo swap into my NBT 14, and then moving my takeout NBT hardware to my 13 F25 which is of course the older system.

Who'd you buy the kit from?

I am interested to know more. Is this a bimmertech retrofit? Looks nice, but I don't think it is going to be a cost effective solution for most.

Yes, it's from BimmerTech and it's awesome. As far as the price it all depends on what features your car has, but it's around $3,000 +/-

A 10-20% option compared to the value of the target car's value isn't cost effective. Nice but too rich for my blood!

For a Pre LCI F10 with all options (LCW,LDW,HUD,NIVI,ACC,Park Assist,Surround view,HBA..)If I were to acquire the NBT EVO unit/Screen/touch drive controller+ECU/Cables, new FRM module myself, what would be the cost of coding+Emulator?

PaniPuri, i see you are local. I'm trying to acquire parts for an NBT retrofit. Wondering if you wanna tag team this project or if you've already done it, I'd love to get some help. I have a CIC currently on the Pre-LCI.

i am also interested in this retrofit, but i have some questions about it's functionality, if someone can answer it will be great:
1. will the HUD still work?
2. will the bmw remote commmands still work?
3. will it work with the nbt display?
Thanks
