Hi,

I know it's the wrong forum but the F07 is not really busy.

I'm looking for pics of a BMW 5 series Gran Turismo in Imperial Blue with M sport Packages. I used the search and googled but I didn't find anything.

Can anyone provide me a link or some pics? Would be much appreciated.

BMW had projected that it would sell between 4,000 and 8,000 of its Gran Turismo range annually in the United States. Yet in 2010, the company only managed to move 2,848. Ouch.

Due to the low number of sales is probably a big reason you can't find pics. But I'm not sure why it has to be that specific color? If you can find a pic of any 5GT w/M Spport pkg...it shows what it looks like...having to see it in a specific color changes what?

If you haven't done so...do a google search for the "BMW f07 pricing and ordering guide PDF". because you may be looking for something that doesn't exist. Check to see if the M Sport pkg could be ordered in that color.

I just did a quick search for BMW 5GTs using carfax.com & only 3 of the 19 found in the nationwide search had the M sport pkg and all 3 of them were Carbon Black (CarbonSchwarz)...which is one of BMWs interesting colors that look black in the dark...but in sunlight you can see a dark metallic bluish hue: https://www.carfax.com/Used-BMW-5-Series_w46

Vehicles can look very different in different colours. I remember when the Ford Taurus came out with the jellybean look around 1996. To me, it looked awful in lighter colors but not so bad in darker colours; still not very appealing, but not as offensive as the lighter shades. I imagine the 5GT is the same.
