How hot does your 535 engine run?

Hi all,

As a follow up to my engine errors thread...how hot is a 535i Xdrive supposed to run? It looks like my engine likes to run around 100-106 °C right now, and I honestly can't remember what it was in the past, but I think it was lower and more in the mid 90's.

How hot is your engine running? Is 105°C a tad hot or normal for these blocks?

thanks,

-H

Does anyone know at what temp the car gives you the overheating alarm? I've had that once when my water pump was failing.

Thanks,
