Cool

A bit too low for me. My ass would be dragging on the ground.

Originally had 285/30 hankooks on the rear and they rubbed BAD so had to stretch some smaller ones due to the low offset.

Alan's not going Vossens anytime soon, he wants MORR LOL

Seriously though, after what I heard about VOssens, I'm working with MORR wheels (which are high quality forged) to hook up my next GT with some sweet rims.

Wait, how is that setup working properly?

First off, how can a 255 tire fit a 10.5 wheel?

Second, it should be 35 front, 30 rear.

Little confused.

Hankooks run very wide, so a 255 fits a 10.5 the way a 275 from another brand would.

The number for the sidewall is a percentage. So when you run staggered you do 35/30 to keep the sidewalls close to even.

For Example:
245/35 = 85.75mm sidewall
285/30 = 85.50mm sidewall
255/35 = 89.25mm sidewall
255/30 = 76.50mm sidewall

So when i lowered the rear tires to a 255 width, i had to bump up the sidewall one size to keep it even, otherwise they'd be much smaller.

It also helps stretching a skinnier tire on a wide rim with more sidewall.

so do you think 275/30 on a michelin PSS would be close to a 255/35 hankook v12? I am thinking of installing a set of 10.5 HRE's with +28 offset and we're thinking of stretching a 275 PSS.

PSS runs fairly wide.
