Does it affect the latest 2012 528i w/N20 engine?

Do u feel the gearbox is slow to respond in Comfort mode under big throttle inputs? In a F30 328i the response is instant even under Comfort mode.

They two cars share the same 8 speed ZF automatic. I think what your experiencing is the laws of physics. The F10 528i is 400 pounds heavier than a F30 328i.

I know they have the same gearbox, & both demos have the sport auto option (i.e. shift paddles). I'm not talking abt the weight, but the time for the gearbox to start kicking down after I hit the switch by flooring the accelerator.
On the F30 it kicks down almost instantly after the switch was hit, whereas there seems to be a 0.5-1s delay on the F10.
