Finally, build week has arrived!

It ONLY took 5 months due to a dealer mistake and the waiting has been killing me....lol...only a few weeks more in the 2011 328i coupe loaner. Don't get me wrong, the 328i is a decent car, but compared to the 2010 535i M Sport I traded in, it's night and day. I'm hoping the F10 550i M Sport is as fun and engaging to drive as my E60 535i was. I made excuses to go drive that car!

I have opted to have the dealer install the white-line tail lights on delivery and possibly quad black chrome exhaust tips, as the silver comes with the black diffuser. The car is titanium silver and I think the white-lines will look good. I know a lot of people think these look "Acura”ish, but on silver I think they will match well. Might work on getting the reflectors all changed out to clear also. If it doesn't look good, I'll get everything switched back.

Delivery is supposed to be around 11 March, will post some pictures when it arrives and wait for the criticism...:-)

Dont sweat what others think, for everyone 1 person who dislikes it there will be another who thinks its the awesome. Just make it so you smile when your walking towards it!

Great point delvek. What I'm really after is a small amount of "uniqueness" in the land of a million Bimmers! Heck, there have been times when I had to use the panic button to figure out which car was mine....lol.

Yea I agree with you 100%. There are many good reasons why people go with popular choices. Its why I went with the Carbon Black (not a wild choice but unique) plus some accessories as well.

Count yourself lucky you got a 2011 328 as a loaner. I'm in a Chevrolet Aveo for the next 8 weeks......
