Since you are coming from an M3 which would be a 8-9 on the scale, the 535 would be more like a 2-3 in comparison. Although my tuned 535 is fun, it just doesn't give you the same smile when you floor an M3 listening to that V8 snarl and grunt back at you.

if your looking for a sporty car look elsewhere. this is a luxury car first and foremost. it has some sporty pretensions. i'm going to be trading it in for a 4 series coupe manual transmission in a few years to get back to something more sporty.

this is a not a knock on this car what so ever. i love my car. but its a luxury car

+1

Exactly how I see a 535i, even in M-sport guise. Love it that way, bit of a luxury barge.

come on it's a luxury sport sedan and blow away Mercedes E class luxury sedan.
if i wanted a sport car then I would have to look at a ZR1 corvette or Shelby GT500

I gave it a 5.5 (rounded up to 6) rating where 1 equals walking and 10 equals face ripper monkey or Bugatti Veyron.

0-60 in 5.9 seconds is darn good for a mid-luxury sled

You didn't specify 535 or 550. The 535 should be mid range sporty, 550 should be 7 or 8, and M5 would be 9 to 10.

But if you came from a Prius, then 535 would be 10. Overall, I rate it 6. It's a good overall car and has enough power to get going.

I drive a 535i (non-sports), so I don't know how it feels. But I like my e60 530i sports' handling way better than 535i.

I think you pretty much have to in order to get passed the tip in.

To me, E60 550i MSport I had before was a true sports sedan whereas F10 535i MSport is more like a "sporty" luxury sedan.
