Here in austria, you can order the HUD and you get the full black panel for free or as in my case, ive orderd 6WA without HUD for 150 euro!

HA HA HA HA HA, SAAB had Black Panel in their 95 in 1998, I belive BMW is a bit after here...

Lucky Austrians!!!....I am sure in uk 6WA is not available without ordering 610 at a cost approx 1000 Euro! .....please post pics when you get it so I can be envious....really wanted this but not prepared to pay 1000 Euros for the privilege.

HaHa!!....did you order with 6nr..I did but apparently in the uk the full media adaptor for full integration of iPhone 4 is not available until June?

I don't understand the excitement. People want to peer through the steering wheel to see a display instead of looking at the iDrive screen? That strangely seems less safe than looking at the iDrive display.

my order is with 6FL, 6NF and 6NR.
i heard the media iphone 4 adptor had thermal problems and will be available again in summer.

White is lights off (daytime) while red is lights on (nighttime).

Yes it's true it is possible to take only 6wa. Here in belgium it costs also 150 eur

I'm quite sure it is also possible in the uk without HUD

Can somebody please confirm either way please?

Is 6WA full black panel display available as an option in the UK WITHOUT HUD?

I am about to start the ordering process and would like the extended black panel but do not require the HUD at a cost of almost £1000.

that "extended display" comes as standard on F01 7-series.

I don't know why they did a "basic" version for F10. I think new 6-series comes with the extended.

Not possible to configure 6WA as an option on the BMW uk car configurator....thats not to say it cannot be ordered but I could not when I confirmed my order in January?
