New AW 550i is HERE
Got the call this AM, 32 days since leaving the factory my 550i arrived in San Diego this AM.
All I can say so far is WOW. I loved my E60 550i, but this F10 550i is SO much more refined. And it looks awesome in person. The lines, proportions, body work is incredible First impressions: Dialed her straight to Sport, 60 or so miles driven combination of Freeways and 2 lane roads. Smooth, Powerful, Quiet, luxurious, sporty...handles like its on rails . Technology is a huge leap forward from the new iDrive, iPhone 4 media interface,BMW APPS..on and on. Defintiely larger, could tell as I pulled her into my garage for the first time. No pull, she drives staright as an arrow with dead on steering wheel, No GY's has Michelin Primacy's, no grinding in low speed turns detected. More feedback review material later, but I know you're all waiting for some PICS:thumbup:

I love it! I'm doing ED on July 1 for the same car! Looks great and glad to see all problems seem to be fixed with these late model 11's. Waiting is so hard! What options do you have?

Nice pics, could I see some of the inside? I just ordered nearly the same car and exactly the same interior. Outside I went with titanium silver, but the rest is close, she will be in SC in July!

Beautiful car.
You're coming from the Carbon Black E60 550i, funny that's my previous car and I also have an AW F10 now... One thing I really don't like about your new 550i are the wheels, they don't have any sporty feel imo... Like the E60 wheels much more. |

Beautiful F10 and great pics. We have opposite color scheme tastes but I 100% agree with your description of performance, feel and exhilaration, as well as the F10 being an improvement over the E60. Question: I see you indicate M Sport package, but I cannot see the M Sport silver left foot rest in your photo (could be just a bad angle). Feel free to post more pics (perhaps interior) for all of us F10 addicts. |

Here are some interior shots.
iPhone 4 is plugged into the media cradle, iDrive screen is showing the Plug In interface view. Still figuring things out!!!
