Judging by some of the posts, I would say the average age is two (2) years old.

However, I think the same way that our F brothers span the globe, the age diversity is just as broad.

I am always amazed how this forum links continents and in general this forum demonstrates how similar our F brothers are to one another.

If only our politicians had a penchant for driving the "F" class of very fine vehicles. then maybe we could all get along!

(are you listening Mr. Putin?, how about you Mr. Obama?, and how about you Mr. Rouhani?)

Mr. Rivlin would never subscribe to an "F" series. Why? Because, the expertly trained Israel Special Forces would find that the "F" class pedestrian detection with city braking would ruin too many of their missions.

my Statistician wife would argue "average" is NOT the right way to look at this and "median" age or "weighted average" is probably better suited here.

simply put there are no 1 year olds owning a 5er... but there could be a lot of folks in their 70s/80s owning one... hence introducing a lot of bias in using average.

35. I traded my F30 328i for an F10 528i M Sport yesterday. At some point attributes like soft nappa leather and a quiet ride matter more than outright agility and acceleration. I just did not expect that to happen so soon.

I'm 37 when I lease the 535i, I'm 39 now.
Just reserved a Model S, can't wait to return the 535i in 6 months.

A 2010 isn't that expensive, atleast not here in Sweden. About the same price as a new smaller Mitsubishi or Hyundai.
I don't see the problem.

Most 20-somethings in America don't make enough to afford the smaller Mitsubishi or Hyundai, either.

The OP asked about the average age, and I gave him the average age per the latest industry research. Average is average. There is no bias.
