Truer Definition of Fully Loaded would include Active cruise, rear power shade, rear entertainment, and a few others that this car doesn't have. Awesome car, but just sayin.

The funny thing about the rear sunshades is we have them in our X5, (our E70 as well) but we have tinted windows, so they stay down never to be seen.

Sorry, just was showing a link and some pics of a F10 that I though was nicely loaded. Wasn't intentionally adverting it.

Looking at one of the pictures that shows the dashboard, steering wheel, etc. you can see that it has active cruise, but you are correct about the power shade and rear entertainment. Come to think of it, it doesn’t have night vision. But, if I’m not mistaken I believe this is the most loaded F10 I’ve seen on this forum.

When I got off of this forum yesterday, I absolutely knew there was going to be more negative post when I got back. That seems to be the norm in the F10 5 series forum. But it’s all good I’m a big boy I can handle it.

As for your statement that you all know what the true definition of loaded is. Obviously, I shouldn’t have used the phrase “Fully Loaded” when describing this F10. But in my defense a 2015 550 with an original MRSP of over $90K, that is a nicely equipped vehicle. Even if you don’t include the $500 optional rear shades.

Oh yeah, btw we all have our opinions and the fact that you believe rear shades “should” be standard on all 5 series that’s your opinion and your entitled to it and that’s cool. But, in my opinion, it should stay an option because if you plan on getting tinted windows the shades are a complete waste of money.

The point of my original post was to just show some pictures of a nicely equipped F10. But, it seems by using the words “Fully Loaded” I offended a few members. With that being said I still believe this F10 is more equipped than any F10 I’ve seen in this forum.

I hope you didn't take my post as "negative" and I don't see very many negative posts here. I certainly wasn't offended by your listing of the car as "fully loaded", but fully loaded means fully to me. My non-fully-loaded 535 has options that that 550 doesn't have. Just saying.

You were right to correct my post saying the 550 didn't have ACC. I didn't see it in the VIN report but apparently it's part of Driver Assistance Plus on a 2015 550. I have Driver Assistance Plus on my 535 but mine doesn't have ACC.

As to the car not having DHP, a lot of drivers prefer M-Sport without DHP so not having it could be a preference rather than a cost-saving to keep it from being "fully loaded." Whoever spec'd that car didn't seem to have been pinching pennies.

Anyway I don't see anybody's replies here as negative or personal and I don't see negativity as a norm here at all. Snarky yes, not negative. We're all big boys and girls here who like F10s. Thanks for your post about the almost-fully-loaded 550 -- it's an impressive car.

It's not you. Yes, that is a VERY well optioned 550! It's just that most of us have read ads for "fully loaded" cars from dealer sites only to find out that they seem to think that having leather or NAV makes a car "fully loaded."

I actually walked by this car the other day when I dropped my car off at the dealer (I bought my car from BMW of Fairfax 3 months ago - awesome dealership BTW).

The problem with "fully loaded" cars is that you pay premium for those features but their value depreciate so much that after a couple of years the difference in value between that car and another without those features is marginal.

True statement about the dealership. I've purchased both of my current BMW's from there. My salesman and SA are very good people.

You are also pretty accurate on your statement about the depreciation of nicely equipped vehicle as well.

The leather dash is a nice touch.
But no DHP! Sad.

Well optioned, for sure though.

Active steering not available on XDrive, so it's a choice of one or the other.

Is B&O the cats meow or what??? Never heard it in a BMW before.

That car's mileage is what's intriguing to me.... 7k miles @ $55k? Not bad for a pretty much a 40% discount on a new F10.
