Tire size question for 21's

Hey everyone-

thinking of moving from 20's to 21's. The wheels I'm looking at are 21x9 +35 and 21x10.5 +40. I'm now trying to figure out what tires to run with as much rubber as possible with no rubbing.

Searching the forum i see people going with 255/30/21 and 295/25/21. are those the right sizes for this set up?

My car is a 535 xdrive and I'm lowered on ACS springs.

here's how the car looks now.

Thanks for the help!

255/30-21 front and 295/25-21 rear are good options with xDrive on those wheels.

There is one alternative if you like slightly more sidewalls, 245/35-21 front and 285/30-21 rear.

I'm running 21's but with different offset 21x9.5 30mm with 255/30/21 and 21x11 38mm with 295/25/21 tires. hard to tell with your pictures but depends on how much gap you have can you run tires with more sidewall protection. also, because you're an XDrive you gotta stay within tolerance/range. BTW, your wheels look AWESOME!

Thanks! I love your wheels too. They'd get destroyed where i live in NY. I'm really torn between 20's and 21's. I wanted this car to be more comfort than my e90. Sometimes I feel like the 20's look too small...decisions decisions....

You're better off with 20's since you're in NY. I went for pure aesthetics because i enter shows

yea i know. i found this thread though using the tire sized i mentioned above. looks like theres a decent amount of rubber on there for 21's. I'm so I'll go back and forth a thousand times before spring!
