Mirrors: Wrap, or spend $86?
After I get my Active Autowerk quad exhaust installed today I'll be looking into wrapping my mirrors since it's nice and stormy out right now. Work also has us on a new schedule which yields the same salary but more free time so I'll be spending more time in the garage for sure!
My question is: I have a roll of 3M Carbon Fiber vinyl wrap I ordered to attempt to wrap my M6 mirrors, which was a huge pain in the ass due to the curve of the mirror. The F10 mirrors are more squared off, so I'm thinking they'll be much easier to wrap. If anyone has wrapped their mirrors, can you shoot me some pointers? I have a squeegee and heat gun already. It's either that or I blow $86 on some eBay caps. Pictures and exhaust clips to come. They'll be posted in my build thread in the media forums.

I've been trying to wrap my mirror caps. I just had an issue with trying to remove the mirror cap. I highly recommend trying to take the mirror caps off first before wrapping it.

I tried to wrap my mirror cap and couldn't do it for the life of me. It has some very interesting curves and sharp edges and I totally gave up. I might just pay someone $80-$100 to do it.

I was quoted $250 lol. For that kind of money I'd rather just get the replacement caps, or tape off the car and plastidip them
