White 550i GT Just Arrived Day After Christmas...

White 550GT has every package available. Car became a hit at the dealer and in just the 4 hours it was at the dealer, two others wanted to buy it. Some photos are attached (sorry about the poor quality, photography was never one of my strong points).

Congrats to all you new owners (first on 5post)! Having owned other BMWs, how would you say the GT compares in terms of performance/quality? I know it's not built to be a track car or the like, but a 550i GT should still have plenty of performance.

They really should have called this the X7. Rides like a luxury car when in comfort mode, but moves surprisingly quick. The Turbos and the transmission are awesome, you never feel the car accelerate or shift. You start out and feel like your going 40 and look down and the car is crossing 80 and climbing quick. First control we had to find was the speed limiter alert. So far not a slouch for performance. We are still in the gentle phase and I am doing everything i can to keep the wife out of sports+ mode (not sure how long that will last). This car will easily blow my 550i off the road. All in all extremely happy.

i am sorry, but i don't get how thats a good thing shifting i understand since it has 5 clutches but, me personally I like to feel the car accelerate and push me little bit back to my seat.

ive seen one in person i think a month or 2 ago at a Glendale BMW i believe. Its a nice car, but im just not a big fan of hatchback type rear. But the front is stunning and the exhaust is sick. Just dont want something that looks like a prius.

Congratulations! I saw it last week at my dealer, and I must say, the car all around looks very nice. And after sitting in it for a while, both driver, front passenger, and rear passenger, I can fully feel the point of this car. I haven't driven it, but the seating position, the room, and feeling is great. At first I didn't see a point in this car, but I'm sure it definitely has its market.

Nice ride, and hope you enjoy it!

Agreed, it also doesn't look as large in White as it does in some of the darker colors.

Enjoy!

Nice looking in AW. I saw one with smaller rims and some wierd blueish colour at the dealership the other day - did nothing for me.

Congrats!! It is a very beautyful car!!
I sat in one at the dealer and it's unbelieveble!! When you close the door you hear nothing from outside!!
In the back are tones of space!! The seats are so confortable you can easily sleep in there!!
