Was wondering if there are any F10 535i owners on here running Bootmod3? Seems like they are a big hit right now for the F8X platforms but I can't seem to come across anyone running them on the F10 N55 just yet. Seems like an hell of a deal for only $595 with one OTS map compared to what other tuners are charging anywhere upwards of $1k.

I'm looking into doing this soon. When it all said it done it will be over $1000 just like the other tunes. That's including removal of ecu also. There is an authorized dealer in Chicago by me. He also hasn't done any f10 n55 yet. Most reviews I see if for M cars running it.

I have a RaceChip ultimate on my car right now (2013 535i) but its only putting out 310 WHP and 344 WTQ with it... I'm curious about the BootMod but I wanna see dyno for the n55.

Here is a m235i running bootmod3. Gains are pretty impressive. I'm guessing the gains will be marginally less on our the F10 N55 because of less efficient cooling.

My local BM3 installer said $1000 out the door. Im really thinking about juts biting the bullet and getting it done..... so tempted

And here are the steps to getting BM3
- BM3 Dealer will remove ECU from car and bench flash (Labor for this on N55 no more than $300)
- Bench Flash = reads your stock file
- Buy thru PTF or your preferred BM3 Dealer, the BM3 $595 license
- You'll need a laptop/tablet or recommended the BM3 agent device $290 so you can leave it in the car
- PTF gets sent your stock file; they revise your tables etc etc
- They send you or tuner your stock file to your email and PTF sends you a V1 or V2 to flash your car
- BM3 app on Android or iOS is free and they also have a web-version if you want to run it off your laptop.
- Add the files to your BM3 app (theres a section called My Maps) and you click add and add it
- Flash it while car is in power but engine off (keep all doors/closed/windows)

This is what they told me FSociety

"We know the steps for doing BM3, we have done it, that is why were a installer for them. We charge $475 for removal or DME, unlock, and replacement. That is $3000 labor for removal, and $175 for unlock. Then whatever the cost of the BM3 tune you choose. We will load one tune for you. We do not do any tuning with that service. If you want a custom tune, we have a dyno, and charge $500 for a tuning session up to 3 hours, what the tuner will charge for that session is up to the tuner of your choice.

$3,000?

BM3 License cost $595 this is a set price by PTF (No dealer can change this) only thing the individual shops can vary on price is their labor/unlock fee.

For ex, PTF charges $100 to unlock since you have to do the removal/reinstall yourself when you mail it to them.

The license includes a OTS Map; meaning you dont have to pay extra for a map. The BM3 OTS map are outperforming "Custom Tunes out there". So dont fall into the pretty word "Custom" until you see what your OTS does on the dyno

What you can do is first, get in touch with PTF in regards to your F10 535 OTS map and that you want to put it on a dynojet.

Your last question is a question for them not something we can answer.
