Megan Racing Exhaust

Its alot lighter then the stock exhaust. will weigh it when it comes in.

Hi guys.. I'm new to the forum.. I've been eyeing this exhaust for a long time for my e60 m5. Can someone comment as to the fitment, weld/build quality of this exhaust? I would think it's very similar to the F10 version.

From the pictures, it looks like a great buy for the money, however some vendors who will not be named in the m5 community who sell $3000 exhausts have been poo-pooing the megan racing oe-rs. I find that hard to believe because again, these look great in photos.

I dont know what the difference between a $3000 system and my Megan system but I can tell you that the quality and the weld are perfect. Some company charge alot more cause they think they can.

Those blued titanium style tips just doesn't mesh with the elegant design language of the BMW F10 , just saying.

Megan offers 3 different style tips, rolled stainless steel, rolled titanium and regular titanium. Everyone have different taste so now they can choose which style they want.

I asked and he said that there is no exhaust for the 550. It would cost more due to them intergrating the flaps on the exhaust. Unless things has changed that is what I was told.

And we need the flaps because....? A serious question because wouldn't the sound be louder/more aggressive if there were no flaps getting in the way?

And since both the 535i and 550i are dual rear exit, why couldn't someone bolt this exhaust to their 550i, assuming the bends match up?

Thats is what I thought too. It should fit without a problem but not sure if the 550 guys still wanted the flaps or not.

Simple. Stick them on a 550i mule, post video of the sound clip and expand your target audience
