M package mod to bumper - will this work??
Does anyone know if the rear bumper section above the tailpipes on a 2013 M package 550 can be replaced with the same section from an M5? Thinking of getting Dinan exhaust but don't like how the pipes stick out so far. Sales guy at dealer suggested replacing bumper section with M5 part which covers the tailpipes more. Parts dept couldn't confirm if they were interchangeable (suggested I ask here!). Haven't done any measuring etc, but from eyeballing it they look interchangeable. Would just need to paint new part - they only come primed. Has anyone done/seen this?
