Recently I had a toddler riding with me in the car who decided it would be fun to touch the LCD screen while I was changing the menus. I'm very OCD about keeping the screen clean and trying not to let anyone touch it if I can. First thing to pop in my head was to buy a screen protector like you would do for your smartphone. I was doing some research and came across a company called Photodon. They make the 10.2" screen protectors for the F10! Glare reduction all the way down to anti-finger print. So I decided to try them out and couldn't have been happier. You do not have to take apart the entire screen but it does make it a lot easier to clean and apply the film.

I ended up using the MXH which provides 25% glare reduction along with finger print resistance and great image quality. I have a few shots of the sample film MXH & 6HS that I applied on my Iphone for testing.

Wow awesome thanks for the info. This is just what I need, I'm always paranoid about someone touching the screen because I have no clue how to clean it and don't want to risk damaging it. I will order this screen protector but before I apply it I would need to clean the screen. Do you know how I can clean the screen without damaging it?

Yes please clean the screen before application. In the packet you get from photodon, they send everything you need as far as the cleaning supplies go. They even send a test film in the packet to try first just to make sure you are satisfied with your order or not. I received a cleaning microfiber cloth, alcohol wipes, dust remover, soft edge card for removing any bubbles, test film, application instructions and discount coupons!

Thank you indeed. It drives me crazy when people try to touch my notebook screen. I do not have much trouble with idrive but would like to protect anyways. I too must clean first.

I have the 45% glare protection which I haven't installed yet. I had it the last 3 weeks. The 25% looks very good. My screen has small scratches. I was hoping the 45% will hide it.

Photodon seems to have a great product with many options available.
