rough Idle

I started noticing my car has a rough idle. It has gotten worse and today I got and engine malfunction reduce power. I am taking it to the dealer.

LuvMyE92, I will. I dropped the car off yesterday and they told me to give them until Monday or Tuesday. I did not hear back from them today.

I got my car back today. Here is what they did and found. They found first misfire codes 140601 140008 14501. They performed a fuel composition test and fuel grade and passed. Performed a smooth running test and verified cylinder six was running slightly richer than all other cylinders. They removed all spark plugs and found six and eight fouled. Eight was also covered in fuel. They performed a monitoring of fuel rail pressure to verify for leak, also performed a compression test on all cylinders to make sure no hydrolock on engine due to fuel leak. They tested all injectors. They replaced injectors 6 and eight. They also replaced spark plugs six and eight. They recovered and recharged A/C system and bled coolant system. They calibrated injectors 6 and 8. They did road test and cold starts over night to verify no misfire, checked injectors were not leaking or faults present. I hope this fixes the issues

marcielago, I picked the car up yesterday afternoon. It seems to be running fine, but time will tell.

Good luck. I've filed a complaint with BMW customer service over my issues. Waiting to hear back from them.
