TPM malfunction after wheel+tire swap
Hey guys,
I installed a set of four M-sport wheels+tires off an F10. Bought the wheels on Ebay and they are supposed to have the factory TPM sensors. My car is a 2011 535i built in 2010. I'm guessing that the wheels came off a more recent F10. After driving for a couple of miles I'm getting a TPM malfunction error. I tried resetting the TPM a few times but without success. Should the system learn the new sensors quickly? Do I need to wait longer? Did the early 2010 builds used different sensors than the recent models? Any other ideas? Thanks! |

Mine was built before September so that would explain it! I'll get the sensors installed from my factory wheels. Thanks!
