Anyone else have encountered this issue? All systems are ok yet the engine light is on? Thanks in advance for the input

Take it by a parts store and they can read it.. if the car is in really bad shape it will go into limp mode so if it's driving fine you should be OK to drive for a bit.

A loose (or faulty) gas cap may be the culprit; if so, once properly tightened (or replaced), the light clears after a day or two...

If you have a JB4 or OBD reader pull the codes

mine came on once because a dumb ass technician at BMW changed my oil and forgot to put the oil cap back on! It was sitting on top of the engine! if you just had your oil changed make sure the cap is on and tight.

I had this happen on my 2014 535d after only about a few thousand miles and no mods. Brought it into the dealer and they diagnosed that it was a software update that was needed. It was weird, but the software update seemed to fix it. Car tans strong and just fine when the engine light was on. Good luck with yours.
