My 2011 550 has always burned oil, about every two months I've got to add a quart. Now since I've had the recall work done I seem to be burning a quart every 2-3 weeks now. Nothing has changed, the miles driven every week is the same, I'm not hotdogging around town, but this has me concerned. The car runs like a champ, it doesn't smoke on startup, in daylight I haven't noticed any smoke when I get on it. I'm taking it into the dealer next week and try to exercise my CPO warranty. Wish me luck.

That sucks to hear. I only have had to add oil once between service intervals in the last 15 months I've had the car. But they're supposed to just let you drive up and top it off for you. Still a hassle though.

Update:
Got a call from the service adviser and it turns out they need to replace the turbos and few other items - this is after they already did the campaign work a couple of months ago. I hope I get a better gift this time instead of a stuffed bear.
