You have to stay away from the curbs with wheels like this.

Yay! MS8! Rocks!

They arrived at WK last night. Put them on today. Also did an alignment as the ACS springs were put on for about a month already.

Unfortunately, weather wasn't particularly nice. So here are couple quick snaps:

Waiting for some better weather for some real pix!

And one of you guys better confess! You took picture at WK before I picked my car

I already told you in the HK subforum. Yeah I saw them on your car before you bro. I have to say the best rims I've seen on an F10. I just took some crappy iPhone photos. Hey I'm first on the waiting list bro.

BTW, I also took the chance to put on the Osram Xenon CBIs. Will see if they are better than stock xenons tonight!

Ah. Was busy putting up the pictures so didn't check the HK forum. My gut feel that it was you, though, RC3

mlai is a bird without legs. Once he finds better rims he will ditch these.

I'm first on the waiting list by the way.

Holy crap! These look awesome!!! How much more expensive are these compared to the VS8.2's?

I installed Osram CBI's a week ago. Only have been running them for 7 hours. At first it was very yellow, even yellower than my stock bulbs. Now it's starting to get whiter. I read you need to run them for about 20-30 hours before they get to their full potential.

One thing I worry about is the angel eyes will look yellow compared to the main bulbs once they are fully broken in. I think when the main headlight is on, the angel eyes are only 4300K.

How much did you pay for your CBI's? You got them from WK?

I believe the VS8.2 are around USD3.5k to USD4K in 20". These are around USD7-8K, excluding any shipping and handling

And I got the Osram CBI from mail order. I should have just ask WK to get them from MB instead. The hurt is around USD170/pair including shipping. Not too bad, I guess. In short, only two words: GET THEM!

The CBIs are a tad whiter than stock, noticeable even in daylight if you look at the light shadow from top down onto the headlights. Confirmed with the staffs at WK. And at night, the light you see projected in front of you is bright white, instead of slightly yellowish with stock bulbs.

And the good thing is, these CBIs are really as bright as the stock 4300Ks. I switch quite a few bulbs on my C55s and the higher the K (temp), almost always accompany lower luminance. But these seems to have the same luminance as stock!

I got my CBI's for $200 including shipping. You got a good deal!

I noticed the cutoff is whiter and bluer than stock but not yet near the CLS's and S classes I've seen. I guess you really need to wait before it's fully broken in. Are yours bright white already?

I've also switched to HID 5000K fogs. They are awesome!

The MS8's are so freaking expensive!!!

Are your CBI's as white as the CLS's yet or still a bit yellow?

US$7-8k? This is in the range of the premium rims, Adv.1, HRE, DPE and alike. Really cool.

Yeah, too many F14 and twins. I have to stop recommending them. And keep on modding....

From now on I will recommend Morr MS8.

You guys so brave to change the stock xenons -are the osram's really better?
If they are whiter, means they are more blue? or make the old ones look more yellow? ..i thought the stock was already a bit too blue, make the angel eyes look yellow

Are those new rims like Jxnco's, but deep-dish?
RC attach a gps tracker to Mlai's car, that way you will never lose sight of those rims!

Yes the Osram CBI's are a lot better. That's the stock bulb for Benz S class and the new CLS. They are whiter but are not blue at all. Just white. If you haven't seen the CBI, you will think the stock ones are white but comparing side by side, they make the stock bulbs look yellow. In terms of output, even more lumens than stock by about 10%.

Grim,
I think Jxnco's is the VS8.2s which is 1-piece forged. The MS8 are 3-piece forged. Weight-wise about the same for the same size. I would have gone for VS8.2 if the wait wasn't a ridiculously long
