Question 2011 M5 Front bumper on a 2012 535d M Sport?

curious to know, would the bumper of the new 2011 M5 fit on a 2012 535d M Sport?

the M5 being a petrol engine while the 535d is a diesel, would there be a problem in terms of fitment? thanks in advance

Doubt it as the M5 is a bit wider.

There isn't a 2011 M5. BMW made a 2010 M5, and there is a 2013 M5 coming out next year. However no 2011 or 2012 M5 has been produced.

sorry for the confusion but I was referring to the new F10 M5 and did post 2011 because on the BMW UK website (http://bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/index/0,,1156...%3D%3D,00.html), its M5 (2011) but for US its coming 2013.

I think it will fit. As far as I can tell the F10 M5 has the same fenders as the regular F10, except for the vents.

However I don't understand why you wouldn't just by the M-Sport bumper. They look very similar. I actually think the M-Sport bumper looks better having seen both in person and side by side at the M5 Experience in Seville.
