F10 Idrive to hifi amp output connection?

Hi I want to know how is idrive sending output signal to hifi amp. If it is just a regular rca, single output cable or multiple. Please let me know whatever it is and which wire it is in the harness. I'm only looking for output wire from head unit to amp and that's it.

I know people have have said ms 2 config directly to amp can't be done but if the head unit output goes to ms2 and then ms2 to amp input then it should work I don't see any reason why not. Only thing is ms2 need to be configured 1st then try this route.

Now if there are individual speaker outputs coming from head unit to amp then it can be an issue. Let me know I am willing to give it a shot. Thx

I have been told it is a low-level output from the front of the car to amplifier in the trunk. I do not know, however, if it is an unaltered signal (no cutting of low end frequencies). Can anybody answer this?

I'm pretty sure that the signal from the CIC/NBT is carried through a fiber cable to the factory amp. Be careful if you are contemplating cutting into the light green sheilded wires running throughout the car. See this thread for more insight.
