Pictures of 21" and gap size request

Hey fellow members! Requesting pictures from the people running 21" please let me know which springs/coilovers you're running because I'm trying to get an idea how much gap you're getting between the fender and wheel. That way I can decide whether to go Springs or Coilovers! Also, does the car raise a bit going 21"? Looks like I'm going to pull the trigger on the 510's this summer!

Nice wheels. For your question regarding the height of the car, the answer is yes. But nothing to worry about.

Lets compare:

245/40-19"- Diameter 65.92 cm

295/25-21"- Diameter 66.11 cm

Difference in height will only be +9,5mm (0,37"), so nothing to worry about.

My previous 535d on 21". Lowered with ACS springs.

Oh Sweet! I'm planning on ordering these here in July as they want 50% deposit since of the custom colors they can do. Remmib...seems like u have pretty good knowledge on wheels from all wheel related post that i've seen u post on. help me out here please! What kind of offsets would I need in the FRONT to get that super deep concave look just like the picture below? Cause most fronts have a flatter look.

That's crazy! The 255 has a larger overall diameter at 27.02" than the wider 295 at 26.1"
But overall from a 19" & 21" isn't much but by 8mm or 1.15%

The wheels on that f11 are 20x10.5 Et20 all around, so that helps with the concavity. Normally we run 20x9 or maybe 20x9.5 ET20-35 in the front.

I know lacster had some 20x9.5 with some sub ET20 offsets that were very concave.

Any cons or issues running with this much concavity in the front? I'll read up on Lacster's thread. Thanks for the link!

I can't see any issues with the concavity itself. The issue is rubbing because of low offset/wide wheels to get the concave look.

I was thinking of 20" really, you have more tire sidewall to stretch and more choice in tire sizes.
In 21", your pretty much lock to 255/30/21. And most people with 21" has 21x9 in the front with 255/30/21 with offset of ET25ish.
