great to know. I am also wondering how well the car drives when it's cold. Usually takes longer for them to warm up and you have to take it easy when it's cold.
Are your current tires the same diameter as original equipment?

I think 20mpg in winter w ethanol in a 4000lb+ car is pretty darn good.

I agree Pete, but there is another side to the story. Light weight wheels for a car like the F10 5er, they have to be very strong. Stronger wheels are usually forged wheels and they are A LOT more expensive than the cast wheels. Some cast wheel are just as strong but not as light weight. Also wheels have to be TUV certified for car manufactures to use them. So who will bear down the cost for more expensive wheels? Neither parties want to do that.
I think it's common knowledge that oem BMW cast wheels are sh1t. They are weak and they bend easily.

Takes some concentration at first to be light on the throttle while on the highway but has become kind of unconscious now and easy. And let's just say my speed is spirited. But yeah, tough on gas mileage when driving local.
2014 535i xdrive weekdays 85% highway and 15% local, only highway I am getting 700+ KM per tank eco drive - comfort and local not even 500 KM per tank with 60-40 comfort-sports.
I am happy with mileage so far. If I want to enjoy then I have to pay for it.
