Has anybody opened headlights of F10 and changed corona rings?

I am coming from LCI E91 where it had H8 bulbs for halo rings. I was getting decent output by using 80W H8 bulbs. Moved to F10 and bit disappointed with halo rings. Wondering if anybody has opened the headlights and added aftermarket corona rings / halo rings? Any DIY / pointer / Photos? Thanks.
