lol you guys are hilarious going back and forth so confusing. lets get a few things clear:
When entering the car from the OUTSIDE: you grab the door handle regularly and on the door handle will automatically unlock the door as you pull on the handle. Then you get into the car after. When already INSIDE and wanting to exit the vehicle: you pull the door handle once to lift up the lock, and pull the door handle once again to open the door as you leave the vehicle. You also have the option of touching the ribs / lines on top of the door handle located OUTSIDE the vehicle to lock the door. These ribs are located at the top of the door handle on all 4 handles. |

Depending on what you paid for it, you almost certainly have bought a magnificent car for a bargain! When a door lock isn't doing this or that is just a detail which you can perfectly also have with a new car...
