what does "Vehicle Check" service include?
I dropped off my car at the dealership for a brake fluid flush since its been 2 years. The service indicator also stated that I needed a "Vehicle Check".
The VC service was an additional cost of $110 and I gave the OK since they stated if anything was found that my CPO would cover any repair cost. My questions is, what is difference between the vehicle check and 10 point inspection that's performed for free whenever I bring the car in? it just seems like the same thing.. I guess next time I'll just reset the light and save my money.. |

I'm pretty sure it's just a multipoint inspection. They look at all the regular stuff under the hood. Then they raise the vehicle and check underneath the vehicle as well.
The problem with this is that it still misses a lot of stuff. One time, they said everything was fine. I had to point out my rear wheels were misaligned by quite a bit and caused instability when i drive, and my rear rotors were warped. So I don't really buy into VC service. Most of the stuff you can do yourself. The rest you can probably feel if something's wrong and figure it out from there. If you're still CPO, then just let them figure it out. |

They also grease certain points on the car such as door hinges, etc.
Not worth the money but I have a service inclusive pack so it's free. Not sure that I'll pay for it once this expires... |
