550xi Lightweight Wheel Options

Looking to upgrade to lighter wheels (than the stock M Sport 351s). Will stick with 19s or 20s, and square setup, and need something tough enough for NYC area roads (albeit in summer, already have separate winter set). Thinking something forged (?).

Any experiences or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks

Expensive forged wheels or less expensive flow formed wheels will in general be lighter than the OEM wheels.

i have forged wheels but i'm pretty sure a pothole will still cause some serious damage. with my 3 piece it can be taken apart and replace whatever damaged part whether it's the face, barrel or lip. the wife decided to curb rash the ef out my wheel and just to replace the lip it was $400-500 and $150 for shipping if i recall? so keep in mind forged doesn't always mean bullet proof haha!
