Anyone else had a call from their dealer about this? My Car is booked in this week to have the air con something replaced.

Also, on my Nav the names of the streets stays on for a second than goes off for about 5 seconds, then come on again - only started doing this in the last month.

Not had a recall on mine but my aircon failed last summer. It was just blowing hot air around inside the car. When I took it in they said "Oh, we know about that, BMW issued an advisory". It is something to do with a weld on the aircon compressor failing. The stop/start system also stops working too with this fault.

I am annoyed I was not contacted about it. This could have happened just outside the warranty leaving me a huge bill.

Sorry, could you give some more info on this?
What year is your car and has it been in for ac work before?

Mine had the condenser replaced last Feb under a 'quality enhancement'

Mine had the condenser replaced early last year as well, but nothing since.

2014. It's the condenser that is being replaced and aircon recharged for free. Car is under BMW Insured Warranty, out of the original warranty for about 8 weeks.
