Change runflat tires

Hi
I want to change my runflat tires to non-runflat. I noticed that many of you did it. So, if you have some problems with your tires, how are you going to fix it? Do you have a spare tire in the trunk?
front tires: 245/19. Rear: 275/19

But sometimes it will not help, especially when travel for a long distance

I found this spare tire kit, but do not know if it fit with 19'

I have the same spare "kit" as pieced together here with the Maxxis tire.

http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthre...ighlight=spare

From the looks of the Bimmerzone ad, it also includes a centering ring, so it may be the exact same setup. Cover it and strap it down.

I also keep a ContiComfortKit in the trunk as a back up. It fits nicely in the passenger side trunk compartment.

You can get those from TireRack

Yes this will fit, 18 ", 19" or 20 "rolling circumference should be them same. I am running on runflat tires due. Security these provide the high speed German autobahn.

OE was the 19", but now running 20" wheels/tires. As mentioned, the diameter is about the same. I believe the spare in my E60 was 18" rim and that was equipped with 19" M-sport wheels from the factory.

The spare fits both front and rear, front fitment is critical due to large front calipers.

Remember, its just to get you home or to repair, no autobahn runs

what if it happened on my way to las vegas? lol

Also, do you think it is true that f10's suspension and other systems were made to work only with runflat?
Does it wear fast?

BMW recommends not exceeding 50mph and no more than 100 miles on the space saver spares. I've exceed both with no problems.

I am sure BMW will claim the suspension is "tuned" for the RF's, but after 6k miles with the Conti DW's I am not going back - no unusual wear at all.
