I ordered tires a few days ago. Hankook S1 Noble 2 - High performance all season. 255/40/19. The tires arrived today!! I cant wait to remove the crappy runflats.

I ordered the Sway bar should arrive any day now.

The springs.... I am still going back and fourth if i want to do ACS or H&R.
I am starting to think the H@R is to much of a drop..

did the rear sway bar make a real difference.? also can be be done for XI (AWD) models?
This is what I and others have installed,

M5 front sway bar: 31352284460
M550d rear sway bar: 33556791932
Bushings for the rear bar, you'll need two: 33556788630

Alan I. has put it on both has pre-lci 535ix and his lci 550i.
Of course this will only fit f10s without the adaptive drive with active roll bars.
I fitted both front and rear at the same time, so not sure how much impact just the rear has.

Also check out this thread.

Thanks guys.
Where can I get the 550D sway bar? I must order it ASAP!
I think I'm going to order the ACS. Even if it's a 15% increase in feel I will be happy. The bars will help and of course new tires.

drop height will be almost same between ACS (1 - 1.25") and H&R (1.3-1.5")

ACS price (from BAVAUTO.com - $610.00)
H&R price - $285.00

I also spoke to DINAN, they are saying their sprigs for the 2014 LCI 550xi will be out soon (in about a 2-3 weeks, as they have almost completed the testing) and will be priced at $450-500. and will drop only .5-.75" with greater stiffness compared to stock.

I am just planning to do the sway bars and change the wheels/tires at this time.

Just to let you know there is a considerable difference between the two springs. I own acs and though im in love with the ride, I wish for more of a drop. I assume acs is about 1 inch all around.

Well, have a look at the docs and find out

ACS Gutachten

Eibach Gutachten

On Page 3 you have exactly the same values

yes the specs look the same foir ACS and Eibach, for 550xi - the Eibach kit number is E10-20-022-03-22

but nobody in US seems to carry it. saw a UK listing, even with shipping the price is much cheaper than ACS.

One of the big german auto magazines tested the pro kit very well. So I can't wait to get them in two weeks

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the info - sorry OP for the threadjack..
So are the Eibach and ACS exactly the same springs??
What was all this earlier (mis?)information that ACS dropped it less, was a bit stiffer etc.?
Can anyone who has both springs side by side make out any physical differences?
Those who have installed both, is the drop the same?? Not talking about driving 'feel' because it is really hard to get over the placebo effect.

It would be a mini-scandal if they are in fact identical springs.. just saying.

New tires go in tomorrow morning. I am going to paint the break calipers while the tires are off.
Also.. The dinan springs may not be a bad fit. I'm so confused ?!?!

How's the car coming? Pics of the new wheels?

I was reading about active roll bars and now is crystal clear that i cannot replace the sway bars on my car.... but I still have the option of changing the springs. I was driving an E92 335i with M Sport suspension before and the F10 xDrive suspension looks and feel like a SUV...
Any picture of an 2014 F10 xDrive car dropped on H&R or ACS springs? I have the feeling that I need to go for H&R to get the drop that I want. Any thoughts about how the aftermarket springs will interact with the adaptive drive?

Hi grimlock,

I can't tell you the difference because my LCI will get the new springs in two weeks. But the H&R in my F10 (not LCI) where hard and not my taste.
I have a Foto of my F10 (H&R) and a F10 with Eibach. I will add my new F11 when all the work is done.

That's funny, I have the eibach (for 550) on my N52 528i, it handles absolutely brilliant, not much more noticeable road discomfort .. but throw it into a corner and it is a total beast! don't feel need to upgrade Anti roll bars or anything else.
Only thing is it sits higher - like stock on the front, rear is 18mm drop.
