Car is in production now. When can we expect delivery?

According to the Track My BMW site, our 535 is in production now. We are going to take delivery at the Performance Center and my wife is wanting to start planning the trip home. Plan on visiting Charleston and maybe Hilton Head along the round about way home to St. Louis.

How does one estimate an approximate delivery date based on the limited info we have so far which is only a production number?

BMW will give you a date for Performance Center delivery. Your dealer should be able to help you with this.

My car (535d) is in production too, estimated completion is May 17th. Being on the West Coast, I heard it's about a month to get to the port in LA, since you're on the East coast you can probably knock off about a week. Once it's on the boat you should have a better idea of when it'll arrive. The F30 section has an extensive post of people tracking their cars, you might find something helpful there.
