I like the older one too. I was just at the dealer and was comparing them. Even the interior, although it's higher quality, the overal layout of the dashboard looks like what would probably go on a van. If only it curved in like the E39 style.

Thank you for taking the time to write your personal thoughts about the F10 5er. I can tell by your signature, you are a loyal BMW customer and enthusiast. I had a chance to see the F10 535i and 550i in person at our local dealer, and I was very impressed. Congrats on your new order!

This will probably be my next car, once the lease on my E92 is up next year.

E60's front is definitely more "futuristic" than the F10. I say it looks like a girl with nasty eye make-up. I was never fan of the E60's front. I loved the rear of the E60.

+1! I want a new 5er badly but just don't find my love to the F10 look. Not with the pictures and not in person either. Perhaps I owned a e90 for too long and want something different. Hopefully f10 will grow on me, just like e60 did.

These are models for the dealer to use, the release isnt until 06-19-10 for someone to actual take ownership. Will be really tough for a dealer to deliver one prior.

I'm in trouble.
After 3 E39's and 2 E60's, I took an M3 sedan home for the weekend, fell in love and ended up keeping it. The car has perfect proportions. It is so smooth, so fast and handles so well the new 535 I drove last week felt like a boat. I'm not a big fan of the creased hood, either. I thought I would drive an M car for a few years and get it out of my system, but now I'm hooked, I'm waiting on the new M5. |
