Need advise/input
I am torn between 2010 750 Li Xdrive and 2011 535 Xdrive. Here are the details of both cars:
2010 750 Li X Drive, 16K Miles, every option except Heads up display (don't know if that was offered). MSRP nearly $100K. Under warranty until 4/2014 2011 535 X drive, M-Sport. Just under 5K miles. Nearly the same options as the 750. MSRP about $71K. Under Warranty until 6/2015 I can get either car for the same price. Up to this point, it would be a no brainer to get the 7. However, the 7 has a Carfax blemish from early in it's life of rear damage. Professionally repaired of course. The 5 is clean with no issues. I currently own a E60 5 Series. I like the new 5, but have always loved the 7. Would love some input, even if it is biased. |

I would say go with 5er. I think that's worth the money more. Don't get me wrong I like the 7er but I think 5 is better. this video might be help:

it depends on you overall, why did you buy series 7 for or why did you buy series 5 for? if you have a big family and you want to feel more comfortable than before, i think the best way is series 7. however, if you want smaller car, just go series 5.

Thank you for the feedback and that video. Most of the problems mentioned in the video also apply to the 5.

You are right! but at least you know that you paid 70K instead of 100K.

Definitely leaning towards the 5. It turns out the car only has 2800 miles. Has BMW 20" wheels with wheel/tire protection. Napa leather seats, and loads of other options.

I'd rather not knowingly buy a car with previous damage. And the lower mileage would just about seal it for me!
