With the recent release of the BMW M Performance Power Kit for the F30 335i and the resulting questions from BIMMERPOST members, we thought this would be a good time to solicit your questions regarding M Performance Parts.

We will soon have the opportunity to speak with the folks at BMWNA responsible for M Performance Parts, so please submit your question here, as well as any suggestions/requests you may have with respect to M Performance Parts.

The questions/suggestions/requests do not have to be specific to the 3 Series (can be for any BMW model).

With that said, fire away!

What are the plans to release M Performance Power Kit for 535i and 550i? How soon should we expect this from BMW?

The 14' 550i is reported to have a power bump but not the 535i.

In short, need something that put the 535i and 550i on top of the A6 and S6 in 0 - 60 times (the x-drive cars are probably faster with better traction).

But I doubt any power kit will be made for the already higher horsepower 550 as the S6's 0 - 60 time is already in M5 territory (under 4 seconds) and BMW will not let the 550 to be as fast as the M5.

I am wanting to fit the M Performance Carbon Front Splitter to my October 2010 F11 530d M Sport. On the BMW parts system it does not show for my vehicle, in fact it only seems to show for 2011 cars onwards. I cannot see any difference between a 2010 M Sport front bumper and a 2011 one, so will the splitter go on my car or is there some small difference that I cannot see?

Thanks.
