looks great on the black car especially.

Its the CHP that usually dont like them, even though they ALL have it on their personal cars.

They should be held up to the same standards as us, especially when it is basic vehicle code stuff.

Im going to court in 2 weeks for tinted windows and no front plates. $585 fine!!!!!

How many plates do you need on the front in CA?

Yeah but they mark it as a non repairable violation so it kicks up a ridiculous fine, at least the CHP in LA

HOLY MOLY! That's an insane amount of money.

If you're interested, here's a cheap and easy fix.
I used this to mount my plate to lower mesh portion of M sport bumper

When my wife got a ticket for tinted windows in her Mini Cooper S the officer also marked it as non repairable. I dug into the vehicle code and the officer was right. Tinted windows are not included. The fix it tickets are for tail lights and things that break, not things that were modified. Fortunately, most officers check off the repairable box. In California it is all about the fine. They will actually let you pay a larger fine and not fix it or remove it and pay a less fine.

You got off light. I used to have a bright yellow Corvette Z06 and got nailed for no front license plate (have you ever seen one on a late model Vette?), and no proof of insurance, luckily I had my tinted windows down. I had insurance, but didn't have the updated card on me that had this car listed on it. When I got the bail notice in the mail it was close to $1000! I had to find a custom license plate mount for the Vette, that was $100 plus a fine of $25. The no proof of insurance was $75 for a fix-it fee thanks to the Governator (it was only $25 before). That was 6 years ago, who knows what Governor Moonbeam has done to fees.

Good luck.

Oh by the way Austinmaverick your car looks great!
