Thx for starting this thread. This was a question going thru my mind as well. I was quite confidant on the cinnamon brown decision when all the different shades of cinnamon browns started to appear on various forums. Hope ppl do vote, hopefully with more accurate pics.

Here's an actual sample posted by LMOR. It's been color adjusted so should be a fairly accurate representation of the real cinnamon brown

Interesting that all the votes so far are for Pinkish Brown and yet it looks so different from the Color Corrected picture.

Please note that even if the picture is color corrected, it is your monitor that will show you the color, and if this is not color corrected you will again get the wrong color. In addition a lot of colors will look different in different lights, and a significant change when you use a flash. This color is such a color. The flash will bring out more orange.

I have seen this live several times, beacuse I wanted one like this. But I ended up ordering black. Not because it looked to light/orange, but I found it to be muddy...

Looks like Auburn, which was available for the E60 at one point. Would that be a fair comparison?

I saw this leather in person on a 550 GT and the pinkish brown photo is definitely closest to the actual color. I would have ordered the Cinnamon interior if it had been slightly darker brown in color.

May be something in between. I think this color change a lot during the day. My picture represent a near true color, but all color looks much lighter in strong sunlight as you have in the pinkish picture. So I have tried to simulate a strong yellow sunlight on this picture. You get something in between, or may be what is called "decent brown". I still think it feels "muddy". And the black here seems correct with what I have seen in very strong light.

Is that a shadow (between the two yellow lines), or is it a 2-tone color?

It is a shadow. The sample was one uniform color.

IMHO it is more of a clay brown, almost saddle. In certain light i.e sunlight it might appear to have a slight pinkish hue to it. The rear seat photo in Option #3 is about as close as you can get in pictures - notice Option#4, which is the rear of my car, is pretty close. Does the dealer in your area have any "GT's" with this interior color so you can see for yourself? Are you in the city? If so try BMW of San Francisco. Plus I would endeavor to say that the tanning/dye process will yield variations in color as well. I ordered my car without seeing the color in person, and was pleased with the physical result.

Not quite muddy -...........my attempt at providing some more photos for perspective - (Dark graphite/Sophisto gray - Cinnamon Brown)

Can anyone do an inventory check to see if a Cinnamon Brown 550i GT is in the San Francisco Bay Area? Seeing is believing. Thanks!

Some pics of a new Sophisto grey 525D with cinnamon brown leather recently arrived outside a Brussels dealership.

Pics are not very good quality (poor camera + harsh light) and I must say the car looked much better in real than on my pics.

Good choice, after an initial "flirt" with cinnamon and sophisto grey, I am now Oyster/black and Sophisto grey too.
