M sport paint wheels black? exhuast?

I have a 2011 f10 m sport with the 19 inch m wheels... i was thinking about painting them black... will it look good?...what about an exhaust as well?...if i did the exhaust I would do two tips on either side but it doesnt look like the back bottom end piece would allow it to fit..how do i go about that?

My opinion, not. However black with those dark-silvery graphite effect wheels might look great. But ultimately you must be the judge...

Garage List
Wheels are arguably the most important aesthetic part of a car. If you like it, that's all that matters. But one warning, if you go to sell the car, the buyer has to have the same taste as you, or else mods that look good to you, may not have the same effect on others.

I think it would probably make the car look too black if the whole wheel was done. You could try painting the wheel spokes only in black I guess or the inner rims (see attached pics for the latter kind of idea) but may prove tricky.

Is that Jet Black or Carbon Black M-Sport you have there? Can you post more pics?

I don't think it's good looking, IMO.
The black dull whole part of the unsprung as the tire already in black!

I think they look terrible, the stock Msport rims are about the sharpest I have seen. Have you seen them in person, the photos don't catch the curves and edges to the spokes, they are very sharp.

Even on a black car, I don't like that blacked-out rim look. The closest thing that I saw that looked good was the rims on the E39 M5. I think they were called something like "black chrome". One refinisher I know had a variety of finishes from light gray to black, so maybe you can have the wheels done in a dark gray.

Exclamation

Do NOT do it on a black or dark blue car, it will look awful
If it was AW then yes as the picture shows it would look real good, black on black NO.

I think the black rims give it a "murder" look. Its a matter of opinion and I love the look.
