Anyone with a 520d M Sport?

What do you make of it? Gutless after 70mph? Perfect for wafting?

Thinking of purchasing one as a daily driver. Any thoughts welcome.

I'll be honest. I cruise around 80mph on the highway but never more.

Car will be used mainly for motorway and sometimes city miles.

It has more than enough grunt to sit on a motorway at 75mph - I've just done a round trip to Dublin from Belfast and it never ever felt underpowered. The reviews say the same. As you say it is perfect for wafting. Mine has the adaptive suspension and feels better in corners than my 3 series did when in sport mode. It is MUCH more refined than a 3 series with that engine.

Took delivery of a new 520d B47 190ps M Sport Tourer at the beginning of the month. It has more then enough power and is very comfy for wafting around town, country lanes and motorways. Engine is much better then the N47 177ps in my 320d Coupe, not quite as fast due to weight but pulls harder and much more refined. Very surprised at how well it handles considering it weighs 1.7 tons also.

Any comments on long term reliability? Any problems in high miles?
