My m5 "style" grill - DIY!

I know it`s not the awsome mods that you see on here but here goes!

My local paint shop modified a pair of original grill I got off ebay for just £13! Split down and removed the silver, which was always a glitzy for me...

He removed the silver with a fine scotch pad and polished the ends with a buffer. Top job looks very oem.

Any way a pic or 2, the mini was the mrs`s 40th present...

Looks good! How did you remove your grills? Did you have to loosen the bumper?

There's a DIY guide for fitting a performance grill on this forum, shows all you need to know.... Looks easier than it was, the clips at top were very stiff.

These grills look good on some cars. But I recently realized that the "M5" grills are the same grills that are used on the standard F30's

It used to be the 4 cyl cars had black and 6's chrome. On the f10 there is just too much chrome, I think this tones it down a bit.

Could I swap my grill to a LCI F10, the dealer says no the new ones are wider. They look the same to me? If they were changing the holes for wider grill surely they would alter the from totally to be similar to the 4 series etc...

anybody help?
