That is interesting. And the dealer has more BMWS than any other marque. A market niche down in Alabama.
It is also interesting that the original franchised dealers elect to distance themselves from the buyback cars by sending them off (auction) to non-franchised dealers. Thus, the BMW dealer gets rid of the hassle. I suspect that, in many cases, the car remains problematic the second owner. Interesting story. Resembles an SPCA trying to find new owners for dogs that bit their previous owners, but look friendly enough. |
