Premium Package adds "Hidden" Item
So after talking to 3 different CA's and one of them being a well respected ED CA on here, they all told me that the chrome inserts in the handles are standard.
However, after some research I have found out that the chrome inserts are part of the Premium Package. So besides the ambient lighting, auto dim mirrors and Homelink, you also get the chrome inserts on the door handles. Solid color comes on the non-premium cars. |

is comfort access included in the prem. package for US? I think you get the chrome handle with comfort access. all Japanese models get comfort access as base option, so I haven't seen any non-chrome F10s here.

Comfort Access is $1000 in the US but all US cars come with the push start ignition now, so the only thing the CA does is allow you to lock and unlock the door by touching the handles. Too much money IMO. Just reach in your pocket and push the button and touch the 10 $100 bills you just saved :-)

Ambient lighting which is standard on all models in HK gets the chrome bits.. doesn't require CA here
Yes, but the kicker is the Bmw fob is designed to slip out of your hand with the slightest mishandling.. better invest in a key case |
