BMS Stage 1 and Intake
Wow! I just received my BMS Stage 1 and Intake for my 11 535i and I must say WOW! really brings the car to life. After doing some research and reading a lot of the posts here, I decided to go with that combo and I must say I am very happy so far. Special SHOUTOUT to Mike at Extreme Powerhouse! I chatted with him told him what I was was looking for. I ordered it, he expedited it and now it is installed and one very happy customer.

Took me about twenty minutes from start to finish, removed negative on battery, pulled old intake, installed new cable and chip, installed new intake, hooked battery back up, reset clock, the rest is all smiles. Car pulls like my 335 did.

Car is my daily driver, just wanted a little more edge. This change was perfect, not sure I will do much more to the car, other than brakes and new rims and tires in the spring.

With the intake can u hear the Turbo spool a little bit more? As far as the bms do u feel the power throughout the rpm's in every gear or less in others?

Honestly do not hear turbo as much as I anticipated, however it really does pull, the power is very smooth ad just keeps climbing. Can't wait to put in sport mode and really get on it.

Yeah...from the intake reviews not much could be heard with the turbo spooling So never ordered one yet as some people thought of it as a waste of money. Maybe take the intake off and see if u can feel a difference?

@AW535I , great combo.
For the intake, due to the insulation of the car, it is harder to hear the turbo spool with the window up. But with the window down, you can hear it.

Please excuse the ignorance but how does the JB4 help with downpipes vs having the stage 1? If he does get downpipes will he just not get the full potential?

You also will have the ability to control boost on 1st and second gear full better traction control. Data logging will be very useful as well since your car is now targeting very high boost.
