CF side skirt extensions installed!!

I just installed carbon fiber side skirt extensions on my AW F10.
These match my CF HM style front lip.
I think it compliments my black and white theme beautifully.
Next up, wrap my rear diffuser in CF to match the rest of my accents.
20" VMR V710's to go on once the weather gets better (forgestar's fell through)

Let me know what you think

Goes well with that front lip.

Really? It faces the right way when I load the page. These forums have far too many restrictions with regard to pictures (dimensions and file size)

I purchased it from Ikon Motorsports in La Puente, CA. They have an eBay account. I'm impressed by their products

Very nice! Debating with these or the 3d style? Does it feel pretty solid when attached or does it flex some?

When attached, it does not flex lengthwise (I installed it using 3m tape and self tapping screws).
The curved width of the skirt extension, is hollow and surprisingly seems flimsy. Considering that it's carbon fiber, it should be strong enough and it should hold up against impact over time (fingers crossed)

It's purely cosmetics anyways but it definitley looks good!

It was a piece of cake. Took me 20 minutes for both sides. 3m tape and self tapping screws

I have a set at home that I've been putting off installing. Did you remove your sideskirt? Did you jack up the car? It sounds like you just taped it on straight then drilled in the self tapping screws?

Exactly. Just tape it, then screw in the self tapping screws. Literally 10 minutes per side

No need to as long as you have a flexible drill extension. If you don't, you definitely need to jack it up.

Sorry for the delay. A little busy this weekend.
-First pic is the underside of the skirt (flipped upside down) so you can get an understanding when I referred to the skirt as being "hollow".
-Second pic is it right side up. The gloss black (non CF) flat top is where you put your 3M VHB tape. This flat area is very thin, maybe 1/8", and is where the self tapping screws go through on the under surface

Hope this helps
